It seems that in the last decade, meditation has grown in it's popularity in people across many lifestyles, ideologies and beliefs. That is very encouraging! Meditation is not something that is based in any particular belief system. Meditation is simply a method or technique that helps us to drop into a pure, peaceful space within. That peaceful space within is our own Self. It is the part of us that never changes, no matter what thoughts or feelings pass through us as experience. It is the Experiencer. It is when we are able to part the clouds and identify with that conscious and eternally Silent part of ourselves, that we can begin to experience feelings of bliss, unconditional love and appreciation for all of life, no matter the circumstances. It's as simple as that!
The only reason we don't experience these high frequency energies rushing though us at all times is that we all have excess clutter in our minds, in our nervous system, and emotional blockages weighing on our heart. Meditation is an easy, "fool proof" practice that anyone with the will, can choose to spend a little time each day gently settling into that Peace within. The more that we practice this regularly, the more we carry what we experience in meditation out into our daily lives. The blocks and clutter that obscure that pure blissful state within is slowly cleared away, so we experience more and more of the feelings of bliss, peace, joy and unconditional love in our everyday lives.
There is nothing more satisfying than being able to enjoy every moment of your life, no matter where you are or who your interacting with. When we are are being fulfilled from the inside, we don't depend on other people or situations to "make" us feel good. This is why more and more people are opening up to the idea of adding meditation into their morning and evening routine. It can take very little time to feel profound differences. Even just 15 minutes can make a difference.
In the Coherent Thought Meditation I teach in the four hour audio course available on this site, you can learn to meditate in the comfort of your home, as you travel, on vacation, wherever you happen to be. You can listen over and over, and follow along with the audio course, as much as you feel the need. The meditation techniques I teach are incredibly easy to use, you can't get it wrong. There are four techniques, to prevent boredom and to enhance different areas of your life. This meditation technique can also be used during the day with your eyes open, so ultimately you can choose to redirect your attention toward greater peace in every moment.
Meditation has been a huge part of my life for over 25 years, and I still happily meditate daily. Just because I enjoy it, and I find it's a great way to start my day.
