What is Draconic Astrology?

Draconic Astrology is another lesser used and understood addition to a comprehensive astrology consultation. The Draconic zodiac is a zodiac such as the Tropical and Sidereal zodiac, each aligned to different aspects of the astronomical sky (or structure within space). The Draconic zodiac comes from the North and South Nodes of the Moon. By aligning the North Node with 0 degrees Aries (using any person's Tropical natal chart), the Draconic zodiac is revealed. All the planetary positions will remain in the same number of degrees from the North Node, but once the NN is positioned at 0 Aries, all other planets moved to a new degree and usually a new sign (from their Tropical placement), unless the person has their NN very close to 0 Aries natally. These "new" placements reveal a deeper felt energy, and could be said to be related more to our past lives, rather than this current lifetime. Draconic Astrology is used right along with Tropical astrology, and it adds to the reading of a chart by filling in the deeper purpose that we intended to work on in this lifetime. Draconic Astrology is also extremely useful to use in synastry, to reveal a clear understanding of more hidden connections that we share with the other. If we are somewhat sensitive, we can feel these connections, but our Tropical to Tropical synastry will miss these connections.
